SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS FOR NON-PUBLIC VEHICLES
DPF / RGR / AdBlue –
SOFTWARE MODIFICATIONS
Individual software adjustments for DPF, EGR and SCR/AdBlue systems for applications in which such a modification is legally permissible.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The DPF, EGR and SCR/AdBlue software modifications offered here are intended exclusively for non-public vehicles and applications in which such a modification is legally permissible.
The modifications are not intended for vehicles used in public road traffic, insofar as this would impair the prescribed emission requirements or the function of the emission control systems.
The client is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is used exclusively for its intended purpose and that the legal regulations applicable at the respective place of use are complied with.
The modification is carried out at the client’s own responsibility and risk.
WHEN SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE WORK TOGETHER
Modern diesel and commercial vehicles have complex exhaust aftertreatment systems. DPF, EGR and SCR/AdBlue work together with sensors, control units and various control strategies.
Changes to these systems therefore require precise coordination of software, control unit and existing hardware. Depending on the vehicle and configuration, different adjustments may be required.
We analyze the respective vehicle and software configuration and tailor the adjustment specifically to the existing system.
Which adjustment makes technical sense depends on the respective vehicle, engine, control unit, installed hardware and intended use.
DPF – DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER
The diesel particulate filter is part of the exhaust aftertreatment of modern diesel vehicles and filters soot particles out of the exhaust gas. It is part of the emission control system.
A software adjustment of the DPF system can have different technical effects depending on the vehicle configuration. That is why the respective software version is just as relevant as the engine, control unit and existing hardware.
Such a modification is not intended for vehicles used in public road traffic if, as a result, the prescribed emission requirements are no longer met.
DPF OFF
EGR – EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION
Exhaust gas recirculation feeds part of the exhaust gas back into the combustion process and is part of the exhaust aftertreatment and emission control.
A software adjustment of the EGR function therefore directly affects the engine control and must be considered in the context of the respective vehicle and its existing hardware.
We offer such modifications exclusively for applications in which such a change is legally permissible.
AGR OFF
ADBLUE OFF
SCR & ADBLUE
The SCR system reduces nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas using an AdBlue solution. Dosing, sensors, control unit and exhaust aftertreatment work together in the process.
When the system is adjusted by software, the respective vehicle configuration is taken into account. Which options exist depends, among other things, on the vehicle, engine and control unit.
Deactivating the emission control on a type-approved road vehicle may violate applicable regulations.
Such modifications are therefore intended exclusively for legally permissible applications outside public road traffic. EU regulations prohibit defeat devices and strategies that reduce the effectiveness of the emission control.
WHAT IS ADJUSTED?
Every vehicle has an individual software configuration and different control units. That is why an adjustment cannot be considered independently of the respective vehicle.
Before processing, the vehicle data, engine, control unit and existing system configuration, among other things, are taken into account. On this basis, the respective software adjustment is made individually. Depending on the vehicle and system, this may affect, for example, the software-side monitoring, diagnostics and control of the respective exhaust aftertreatment.
Which adjustments are required always depends on the respective vehicle, engine, control unit, installed hardware and the desired result.
01
VEHICLE
Engine, control unit and existing hardware form the basis of the processing.
02
SOFTWARE
The existing software version is analyzed and the relevant functions are adjusted according to the intended application.
03
VERIFICATION
After programming, the function of the software is checked and the processed data set is verified.
CARS · SUVs · TRUCKS · VANS · COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
The technical implementation differs depending on the vehicle class and control unit.
We process different vehicle types and check in advance whether the desired adjustment can be implemented technically.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can any vehicle be processed?
No. The technical feasibility depends, among other things, on the vehicle, engine, control unit, software version and existing hardware.
Is such a modification suitable for road traffic?
A modification that impairs prescribed emission control functions may affect or rule out the vehicle’s admissibility for public road traffic. The modifications offered are therefore intended only for legally permissible applications.
Does the vehicle have to be brought to you?
That depends on the vehicle and the programming method used. Once you have sent us the vehicle data, we can check which approach is possible for the respective control unit.
Can the original software be restored?
Whether restoration is possible, and under what conditions, depends on the vehicle, the control unit and the processing that was carried out.
What information do we need?
Ideally the vehicle make, model, year of manufacture, engine and any existing error messages. Depending on the vehicle, further information about the control unit may be required.
CHECK THE TECHNICAL OPTIONS
